If you need your own domain name (www.yourname.com), we will help you register it as part of the package. The standard rate for domain registration is $35 per year, but we have a registrar that handles it for $15 per year for our clients. See our section on Domain Registration for more details. Custom design of up to 12 linked pages describing your products and/or services, providing information, or other content of your choice. Each page can be up to 800x1600 pixels in size. This is about three full screens per page, depending on the width and the resolution of the monitor being used. While we suggest using multiple pages rather than a few long pages, if you choose to have pages longer than this, they will count as more than one page, unless they are mostly plain text. If you require more than 12 pages, additional pages are billed at $25 each. A page can consist of text, images, forms, and areas of space to achieve an effective appearance.

Javascript can be included for image switches, active links, and other special effects. Animated graphics are available if desired. Custom animation can be created for an additional fee. The package includes a basic navigation system on each page. Written materials can be scanned or retyped as needed if you do not already have them saved on disk. We will take your data and create copy for you, or use your exact material, as you prefer.

Photos or other artwork you provide will be included, up to a maximum of 20 items. Processing images to make them web ready is part of the package. If your material is not already in digital format we can scan it for you at $4 per item, after the first six items, which are part of the package. This includes minor touch up, cropping, and resizing after the image has been scanned.

Reproduction of your company logo or name graphic on your pages is included. If you require us to design and create an image (original artwork), that will cost more. Each of your pages can have email links, links to contact forms, and links to other pages and sites. Each form is considered one page, unless it is part of another page. Tables, Lists, and Page Counters are included. We will create a Name Logo as part of the package.

One-time submission of your site to 8 major search engines is included (Yahoo, Google, AltaVista, Excite, Lycos, Infoseek, Netscape, AOL). Meta Tags will be inserted in your pages to facilitate search robots and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of your listing. This is all done manually to insure proper category selection and adherence to the rules for each search facility. Don't be fooled by ads that say your site will be sent to thousands of search engines. That is simply done by automated equipment much like spamming and can get your site deleted from some of the key search sites. Any listing fees charged by search engine sites are not included in our package. We will work with you to determine the best description and key words for your site.

All pages are custom coded by hand, not done using a template or html editor. Graphics are sized and touched-up as needed. Pages are tested on both Netscape and Internet Explorer, as well as on various size monitors and even text-based browsers to insure that your pages look correct on all platforms. Our philosophy is to make a good presentation to every viewer, regardless of their equipment. To this end we design pages that load quickly, avoid sideways scrolling, work on old and new browsers and do not require Java. We sometimes use Javascript for special effects, but it is never necessary to properly view your site.

We provide a very complete service at a highly competitive price. This is possible due to our low overhead. While you can easily pay $100 per page elsewhere, we do not think that most sites require that level of service. Our Basic Package does not include custom CGI (beyond page counters, forms, and site search) or Java. Most sites do not need more than this, so why pay for it? All operations are completed in house and to your satisfaction. We specialize in setting-up a web presence for small businesses and individuals.

Your web site is available to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week and you can modify or add to it at any time. This can be a very powerful sales tool, as well as adding to your company image. Our goal is to create a solid, easy to navigate, fast-loading site. Nothing is more frustrating to your customer than an overly complex design that takes forever to load. We keep your site simple and professional.

Your basic package includes minor changes, corrections, and additions up to 12 total pages for 30 days after it has been uploaded to the web server. This insures that you have time to decide about any improvements or changes. After 30 days, modifications will be handled for a nominal fee. If you anticipate frequent ongoing changes we can quote you a fixed monthly fee to control costs.

The Basic Package is an excellent place to start your web presence. You can add additional pages over time as your needs grow. If you want to start bigger we can quote you a price on a more complex site. The Basic Package is not intended for direct online selling of more than 20 items. If that is your purpose you will need a Commerce Site, available at higher cost based on the number of items you offer for sale and how many pages it requires to describe them. If you have several hundred or thousands of products, we can also set-up a commercial merchant cart using your database.
